Notion just released a long-awaited feature that many users have been requesting for quite some time. We are now able to set notification reminders on any date property within your workspace, giving you better control over deadlines and important dates. This functionality helps ensure you never miss critical time-sensitive tasks or appointments. Here's a short insight about how this useful new feature works and how you can implement it in your own Notion setup.
Set your reminders
Set the reminder once in the property's settings, and it applies to all future dates automatically (no more individual clicks for each entry).
For example, with a "Due Date" property, you can configure Notion to notify people 1 day, 2 days, or even a week before the deadline. These notifications are automatically sent to both the creator and anyone listed in the People properties for that entry.

While current customization is limited to a few time presets, this feature significantly streamlines project management, especially for larger, collaborative databases.
